  1. This stuffit archive contains full working versions of MasterFinder in both application
  2.  and desk accessory form.   They are designed to be fully functional until March 31, 1991.  
  3.  At this time they will no longer operate.  We believe that during this time period, MasterFinder 
  4.  will become an important part of the way you use your Macintosh, and we look forward to
  5.  your order.

  7. MasterFinder is a:
  8.  
  9. * Finder
  10.        all the regular stuff + loads of extras -  most operations done by
  11.        selecting and/or dragging in panes, not by dialog boxes.
  12.        - copy, duplicate, move, rename, delete, wildcard select, select all,
  13.          total sizes, compress (if you have Stuffit Engine), launch/print,
  14.          print views, modifier keys are exhausted, key scroll, hot scroll,
  15.          Get Info, file, folder, volume and server aliases (sys 7), and
  16.          privileges.

  18. * Multiple Viewing utility
  19.               
  20.      - Pane View (the main view)
  21.            a browser done right - drag files, drag panes, stack folders,
  22.            expand folders, open same vol multiple times
  23.  
  24.      - Expand View 
  25.            you know, long rows of file type, mod,create dates, size, sort em etc.

  27.      - Tree View
  28.          shows a tree catalog of your disks - search em, save em, print em
  29.          great for Syquest cartridges

  31.      - Volume View       
  32.          view on all of your online and offline volumes

  34.      - Network View 
  35.          don't you ever wonder who/what's out there? and who's playing NetTrek?

  38.          act on found files, or on files you want to group together

  43.        we use the same dialog for searching online and offline vols

  48.      - option launch (select a doc, pull down any app from the launch menu)
  49.      - launch override (map file type/creator to other apps for double click)
  50.      - memory override (set memory partition at launch time or when launch fails)
  51.      - aliases ( for system 7)

  53. * Fast Find utility with multiple search criteria and wildcard name search

  55.        yes the find blazes, and found files remain in a virtual pane where any
  56.        finder operation (above) can be performed on them
